Home Boarding

We offer a home-from-home boarding service for when you are planning a trip away, or simply when necessity requires your dog to be well looked after and out of the family home for a period of time. We board a maximum of two dogs (from the same household).

Your dog(s) will be welcomed into the Dogfather home alongside the company of our own dogs.

There will be plenty of play, regular walks and your dog will quickly become just one of the pack.

We have boarded our own dogs and would only ever choose a home boarding environment, as this ensures they feel safe and happy. With the East Lothian woodlands and beaches on our doorstep, and our large, completely secure 350 square metre walled garden, you can rest assured your furry family members will enjoy their stay with us.

If required, a trial sleepover can be arranged for your dog(s) to help familiarise them with their temporary accommodation. This will incur the standard nightly rate.

While you are away, we will be happy to send pictures and updates.

We are fully licensed for home boarding by the East Lothian Council and covered by Pet Business Insurance.

Fee: £30 per night | *£20 for an additional (same household) dog | Trial sleepover: same fees apply.

Please note: This service is only available to customers who use our Dog Walking services, or to dogs we know well.
